Pig Butchering 101

Today I harvested a 336 pound home grown pig. This is the first Heritage Large Black/Red Wattle cross to be harvested for the farm.
I have sold several and been told they were fabulous but this will be the first taste for me.

This is just one side of the pig bacon! Yummy!
