- Owners,Steve and Kristine Orth have combined their talents and expertise and started growing organic produce,including fruits,vegtables,herbs and nuts.Shortly after starting they expanded the operations to the raising of livestock, including horses,rabbits,chickens and turkeys on the farm. Steve Orth is a sociologist/anthropologist from Texas A&M and a certifed master gardener,specializing in organic edible landscape design. Kristine Orth is a certified Equine Chiropractor, Licensed racehorse trainer and breeder. Eden Creek Farm practices sustainable farming methods. Along with crop rotation and cover crops to improve the land. Harmful chemicals such as pesticides,herbicides,and synthetic fertilizers are never used on the farm. The pure,clean water for the farm is suppled by a solar powered well located on the property. The future expansion of the farm includes the establishment of several greenhouses,a vineyard and winery.
