The Army Worm Hunter

We have now hired uncle Mike "The Army worm Hunter" to take care of our worm problem! If there are holes in the cabbage it's just bullet holes. I have been spraying a garlic/hot pepper mix weekly on the surviving cabbage to keep the army worms at bay...it seems to be working...but just in case we have Uncle Mike. The directions on the garlic/pepper spray is pretty easy. Mix 2 garlic bulbs and a hand full of hot peppers in a blender with 3 cups of water...blend until liquid...strain...add 1/3 cup per gallon of water with a squirt of dish washing liquid to a sprayer and apply once a week.

This is Sally Sue our newest addition to the farm... She is an Amish trained, Belgium buggy horse. When we purchased her she seemed to be very husky...now we know why...she is pregnant!
