Hello Everyone! Update: Lee Wheelbarger and I were married in West Virginia on June 9th 2018. We are excited to bring you the lasted news,weather and gardening tips from around the world. Welcome to KLW World News. This page has been my blog for over 8 years. I took a break from it while Lee and I managed another ranch here in Florida for 2 years. We have now decided to live on our boat Electric Blue Solar Yacht and bring you daily news. I want to continue on with my Eden Creek Farm blog because i feel it is a document of history and knowledge. So here we go!

2 pound Tomato!

I picked this 2 pound tomato off of my Big Rainbow Heirloom tomato plant. Wow! It
has almost 20 other giant tomatoes on the same plant. Bio-dynamic growing is working!!!

Picked over 25 pounds just this morning!

Heirloom Tomato Heaven!

Bumber crop of Heirloom tomatoes this year. First year to grow them in the greenhouse
and I am loving it.

Turnip Utopia!!!! The rain has the garden growing. We have gotten appox 7 inches in the last two
days!

Farm Work Day!

I would like to say Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to work at the farm.
We accomplished so much and fun!

Tillers

I did a test last week with my two tillers...one is a rear tine tiller the other a front tine tiller.

I love them both and they both get the job done but....

The pony rear tine on hard ground will yank you off your feet. After you make a pass or
two and get the hard ground broke up it works great but until then hold on.

The rear tine tiller is a bit easier to handle and does not drag you along.

I have tilled as much as 1/3 of an acre with the pony tiller... for larger areas ... I hire out
a tractor.

Mortgage Lifter Tomatoes

Thank you so much Sandra and Randal Giouard for the generous donation of
organic fertilizer and T-post for the garden! 

Planted 100 Heirloom tomato plants today. My favorite " Mortgage Lifter" .

Planting some of the tomatoes in the green house this year. We will see if they get
enough air flow. Hoping to keep my Mortgage Lifter producing in here through winter.
