From Drought to Floods

This year has been a roller coaster for farming! first there was the drought...by the beginning of September the water table dropped so low that the well almost dried up. Many rain dances later... my prayers were answered with almost 40 inches of rain in less than two months! Most of the fall crops washed away and what was left the army worms ate up in a couple of days. Anyway, the fields are finally dry enough to work in and the sun is shining. Yeeeeeee-Haw!
