Snake Season!

SNAKE SEASON IS HERE!


Henry our little black dog...got bit in the neck by a poisonous copper head snake. He is not feeling very good right now to say the least. Today I stepped over a five foot rat snake on my way to pick weeds in the garden(pictured above). Rat snakes are good to have around to help control the rodent population. No rat poison needed here! Also, I spotted two water moccasins mating by our pond behind the house.

Our Nero Tondo radish loves our soil here! This special Spanish variety is blacked skinned,round root with a crisp, HOT inside.
