Pig Butchering 101

Today I harvested a 336 pound home grown pig. This is the first Heritage Large Black/Red Wattle cross to be harvested for the farm.
I have sold several and been told they were fabulous but this will be the first taste for me.

This is just one side of the pig bacon! Yummy!

New Beginnings!

Hello Everyone, Update for the farm...Steve and I are now divorced and Steve has moved to Costa Rica. I will continue to run the farm here in Blooming Grove Tx. We are looking forward to a wonderful Spring crop both in the produce department and the Pork department. Thanks so much for

We had our First Farm Dinner here at Eden Creek Farm! People from all over the world came to visit and enjoy a wonderful farm Dinner prepared by 5 star Chef Graham Dodds.

Wonderful food and fun.
